Plan B sells itself as a modern Aussie-meets-New York-deli and I kinda like the concept, from the interior design to the classic food menu and the effortless synergy with Aesop branding and products. I suppose that explains the crowds lining up during the weekends waiting for a place to sit.
It was a nice afternoon to catch up with Poh Suan who had just returned from Oz to share some happy news with us. She looked young as ever and could possibly fool a stranger into thinking that she was still a college grad.
After eyeing the menu, I decided to order the spicy linguine pasta with sun-dried tomatoes and crab meat which really hit the spot. Can’t go wrong with the combination, really. As we ordered a bucket of french fries, we continued talking about everything under the sun as girls normally would!
