Marcus and Su Lyn threw an adorable Hello Kitty themed birthday party to celebrate Leanne’s first birthday. For a mother who has a toddler son and a one-year-old daughter, Su Lyn still looks slender and youthful as ever. Most people would probably shake their heads in disbelief if they found out she already has two kids!
The lunch was held at Noble Mansion which is under the Oriental Group in Plaza 33, PJ. It looks like the Oriental Group is enjoying good business because they still have another restaurant in Jaya 33! Dainty mini lemon meringues were served to each guest and they were delicious with the right amount of tang. I couldn’t resist eating more than my fair share!
The appetizers which comprised of fried mushrooms and eggplants in a spicy, crispy batter were really tasty. The other fish and meat dishes that followed were equally good and we were quite impressed with the cooking.
Su Lyn had personally handmade several of the decorations which were in pretty shades of pink and purple. Each kid also received a party pack and we loved the Hello Kitty coin boxes! There were also cookies with Hello Kitty and flower designs. Most of us agreed that they really looked too good to be eaten.
Leanne had fell asleep mid-way through lunch but thankfully she woke up in time for her cake-cutting session! A solitary Hello Kitty doll sat on top of a moist chocolate cake which was covered in pink with white cream piping. It was a sinfully indulgent lunch and here are the pictures!
